One might think an Anzac is simple – but it is not. Our Vegan* Anzac Biscuits are elegant, delicately balanced, wonderful.

This biscuit began its career as an oatcake that Australian and New Zealand mothers and wives sent to their boys during the First World War. The army biscuits, actually a substitute for bread, were so hard and disagreeable that the soldiers had written home asking for help. The Scottish oatcake was the base for what is now known as an Anzac.

Flour, rolled oats, vegan margarine, brown sugar, golden syrup, baking soda, salt*All our vegan products are made in a bakery that also handles milk products. During normal kitchen operations, there is a possibility for food items to come into contact with milk products. However unlikely, we are unable to guarantee that any product is completely vegan.
