Crunchy Almond Granola is only lightly sweetened, perfectly toasted and full of lovely healthy almonds.
From the 1860s on there were a lot of fans of a wholemeal cereal called “Granula”. It was a health resort’s breakfast cereal that had become quite popular. Soon it was forgotten in favour of more easily digestable alternatives with less dietary fibres. It wasn’t until the 1970s that the hippie movement rediscovered Granola as a health food.
There are so many wonderful possibilities: there is granola with milk and bananas, with yoghurt and peaches, with soy milk and blueberries…
