Frequently Asked Questions
What is Katies Blue Cat?
We founded our specialty café Katies Blue Cat in 2011 to offer classic, well loved anglo-american baked goods and fine tea and coffee. It is in a lively neighbourhood called Kreuzkölln, right between the Berlin districts Kreuzberg and Neukölln.

All prices include VAT and exclude shipping costs.
Do you have a minimum order?
No, we do not have a minimum order.
Can I customise a single cookie pack?

Keeping properties and storage
How will my baked goods keep best?
Store your baked goods in an air tight container at room temperature and eat up soon!
How long will my baked goods keep?
Our baked goods keep for at least 10 days, but we would suggest enjoying them as fresh as possible.
How long does delivery take?
Our products are sent out right after they have cooled off. 1-3 days later they should arrive at your door.
Is your mail order Eco-friendly?
We participate in DHL´s C02-neutral program “GoGreen”. It guaranties that the emissions are compensated for. It costs 3,90 EUR. Also, we work with unbleached cardboard for our packaging.
What do you charge for shipping and handling?
Sending your package with DHL “GoGreen” costs 3,90 EUR.
Do you send your products to destinations outside of Germany?
No, at the moment we can only ship to German addresses.
Are your products organic and regional?
No. Some of our ingredients are from organic or regional sources, but as we are trying to maximise quality for a decent price, we cannot offer purely organic products. As a lot of our ingredients do not grow in our climate purely regional is also not an option.
Do you have vegan and gluten-free products?
Yes, we have a small palette of vegan* and gluten-free* products that we are slowly growing. Only products that completely please us, despite “missing” something, make it into the collection.
*Please be advised: All our products are made in a bakery that handles milk products, wheat products and nuts. During normal kitchen operations, there is a possibility for food items to come into contact with milk products, wheat gluten/proteins, or nuts. However unlikely, we are unable to guarantee that any product is completely free of the listed food types.

Can I suggest a recipe to you?
We are more than happy to get suggestions for our shop. Of course we are especially interested in unusual anglo-american originals… Or Aunt Jills amazing Peanut butter Cookies… Just send us an email, we would love to see what you have found!
How large is a cookie?
Every cookie is about 10 cm across. But since all our baked goods are made by hand, size and weight can vary slightly.
